3D printing company?
Does anyone know if there is a company that sells 3D printed items on request and if possible not for a lot of money but for good quality
I have been wanting to 3D print a Valorant axe and other knives for a while now but I don't know anyone who has a company where I can buy a 3D printed one.
I assume it is for decoration or Miniatures for tabletop go, so you’re looking for someone who prints in SLA or SLS rather than FDM.
Most 3D printing services can be found with PCB producers from China like PCBWay or JLCPCB. They are not expensive when printing, but with shipping it becomes expensive. Keep in mind that you choose a shipment with tax processing (then the import turnover tax is already included in the shipping price), otherwise you may still march to the customs office. The Chinese print quite cheaply in SLA (stereolithography, with synthetic resin).
SLS printing from Germany I currently only know Princore, but you should also find various others if you only googlest.
If you are looking for a life-size axe for a Valorant-Cosplay, it is scarce for many vendors, as the devices usually have a limited space. In doubt, the object would have to be processed in order to disassemble it into several parts (possibly to reconnect them later), so work in Blender or similar programs to edit the STLs.
This is very helpful but unfortunately I know zero at 3d pressure
Well, let’s say…
If you buy a 3D printer for home, it’s probably a FDM printer that melts filament layer by layer. The detail depth here is not very good, as well as you always see structures of the individual fine “worst” of applied filament. For this, the printers are very easy to maintain and have a large volume of pressure for small money. FDM is theoretically multicolored, but it is usually monochrome due to the effort.
Also to be found at home are SLA printers that harden synthetic resin to form moulds, also layer for layer. At comparable prices, however, the home appliances are smaller in the pressure volume, but with a great detail depth, which is why model builders and tabletop players depart on it. Synthetic resin, however, is quite a pork and without protective measures also harmful to health in the raw state (the finished product is harmless). Commercial providers also have quite large SLA printers for large objects. I myself have already ordered a case for a craft project at JLCPCB (have a FDM printer, but for larger quantities it is too slow) and found the quality quite well. The color does not matter with them as long as it is white (does nothing but white).
SLS uses plastic powder (polyamide a.k.a. nylon) which is melted together with a laser (internal, therefore SLS, selective laser sintering), likewise with very good results, typically in a gray. Very robust results and a lot of detail depth.
So you have to paint your models in the end.
Now it’s just the question you want. As mentioned for models, it is almost no matter where you order, in the end it is a price question from manufacturing price and shipping price. With cosplay and life-size objects, it becomes exciting with the size, that cannot everyone, so the object might have to be disassembled and printed in several parts.
I want the Valorant Prime Karambit 2.0 so that it also works in color that means I need to spray it on that I also found a file on Thingiverse But I just miss the printer I am 14 years old and don’t want to spend much what pages you recommend? I don’t know how to re-form the data or something like that?
here is the file https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5240649
