2nd class fully booked DB?

Oh, the DB, I have a 10-minute transfer time. If my train is delayed, I won't make my connection. I wanted to check when the next one is coming, but it says:

"Travellers who do not yet have a ticket should choose another connection or book a first-class ticket."

Am I not allowed to take it now? At least I have a ticket, not a flex ticket or anything, but the train connection is no longer valid.

You would have to spend +100 euros for first class.

Travelers Other Tickets are asked (not dependent) to choose another improvement or upgrade.

You already have a transport contract. In the event of a doubt, the train attendants may ask, for example Upgrade your ticket or release it for a (still better) connection.

Yeah, the tie would be canceled if you missed the connection. I don't think you wouldn't come with the next train in this case. If the 2nd class is overcrowded to scale, the 1st class is sometimes released for 2nd class travelers.

You can get in anyway. The aim is that this train will have a 50% load as expected. But that doesn't really have to happen. At present, for a well-known reason, the trains do not want to be 100%.

At 99% you'll get a second place.

This means that a certain number of places is booked. While Corona is released every second place anyway.
