250cc scooter stalls after choke fails. But starts again?

Hello, dear community,

I'm really at my wit's end. I have a 250cc Benzhou Cruiser here. It starts without any problems and responds to the accelerator very well. However, as soon as the choke fails, the revs slowly drop until the scooter turns off. Just before it turns off, it stops responding to the accelerator. Once the scooter is off, it starts again without any problems after a few seconds. It takes a bit longer to restart. You get the feeling that the carburetor needs to refill. The carburetor is new. So the symptoms are the same as with the old carburetor. It's not that easy to adjust because the engine is constantly revving up and down. The strange thing is that it only stays on continuously when the engine is hot or when the fan switches on. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm stuck.

Best regards, Ibo 😊

Sounds somehow after possible penetration of false air into the suction system in conjunction with a so-called "light pressure gasifier".

There could be small leaks in the area of the seals between the gasifier and the valve head, or, at worst, microcracks in the material. To this end, the suction system should be depressed for troubleshooting.

Valve play settings or leaks in the valve seats could also negatively affect the engine running as a whole.

Does the engine get a little quieter and more stable after the drop of the choke, if you then partially narrow the intake opening of the air filter box with your fingers?

Not far away.

Then press the entire intake system for possible leaks. Do it, because until then I'm out. Otherwise we'll turn around here unnecessarily.

You should not keep the LiFiKa directly complete, but rather slowly close a little more and more slowly in the suction hole in respective tests.

Normally, however, constant-pressure gasifiers also have certain fine adjustment possibilities via secondary air and secondary-mixed nozzles.
