250cc motorcycle?

Hey, I'd like to ride a 250cc motorcycle. Can anyone tell me what kind of license I need and how old I have to be?

But here is an overview of the different driving licenses:

  • A1: 15PS/11kW, 125ccm, 0.1kW/kg and at least 16 years
  • A2: 48PS/35kW, unlimited engine capacity, 0.2kW/kg, at least 18 years
  • A: unlimited power, engine capacity, power weight. Minimum age 20 or 24.

It makes more sense to get something bigger than a 500. What about a 250?

Minimum class A2 with the earliest 18 possible.

What kind of model is that???

Sounds like Motocross, you don't need a driver's license because you're driving on race tracks. Public roads are prohibited for motocross.

But, I think a quarter of a year before your birthday you can take the theoretical exam and a month before the practical one. I'm not sure anymore. You can also just google that I don't do for you.

PS you can still drive at 18.

If it's a road registration machine, you can start at the earliest with 17.5
