No, it wouldn’t work because of sensor technology and ignition initiation. In the case of the 2T, an ignition signal must come with each 360° rotation of the magnetic wheel or of the sensor tap, whereas in the case of the 4T only all 720° would be the case.

Kaputt will not be involved in single-cylinder engines, but it will not work at least with the 4T electronics on 2T.

My answer specifically refers to single-cylinder engines.

But works, the signal directly from the 250cc lighting machine fits the Ducati Am6 Cdi and also runs
