2-stroke scooter flooded, what to do?
My scooter (2-stroke 50 cc) has most likely flooded. Unfortunately, I tried starting it 20 times, sometimes with and sometimes without gas, which probably didn't make it any better.
I've done a bit of reading and am wondering if this is correct: Remove the spark plug, clean it, and dry the plug and connection. Then crank it a few times at full throttle, then put the spark plug back in and crank it without any throttle until it hopefully starts again.
In the big and whole, not bad… but if the candle is out, you don’t start with full gas and not when it’s in again.
When empty, you should make a candle on the plug and place it against ground.
It also makes it easy to start when you heat the candle well with a soldering lamp.
Would it also work to heat the spark plug with a lighter?
Then she will hold black, by soot, but warm she will also…
Such a beautiful storm lighter… super! a normal lighter is not suitable. But a hot air…
Too much fuel in the combustion chamber…
If you give full gas, there’ll be more…
Candle drying and clinking, in stand gas…
Hey, can you tell me more about how exactly I’m going? So, candle out 2 times, all dry make candle in and out of gas until he goes?
Yes, you should do this, but don’t give full gas when starting, otherwise the sprite squirts between the ignition electrode and the ground arc and closes the sparks briefly…
Without gas, as I have written, and you can do it several times until the outlet no longer “injects”…
Should I take the spark plug out two times with or without gas to blow it through before I make it back in?
