2 part-time jobs plus mini-job?

Hi guys, I wanted to ask if it is allowed to have two part-time jobs plus one mini-job?

So, for example, if I have a total of 48 hours between my two part-time jobs, can I also have a mini-job? Or is that not allowed?

In Germany, you can have two part-time jobs and one mini-job. This year, the earnings limit for mini-jobs is €538 per month. Weekly working hours can be extended up to 60 hours if an average of 48 hours per week is not exceeded within four calendar months or 16 weeks. However, this extension to 60 hours can only be temporary; permanently exceeding the 48-hour limit is not permitted. Just make sure you comply with the statutory working time regulations and earnings limits.

This is not permitted under the Working Hours Act . According to this law, only 48 hours per week are permitted. This limit is already met by part-time jobs. Only in exceptional cases is 60 hours per week permitted. A contractually agreed mini-job, however, is no exception.

However, tax law doesn't care whether you violate it. Even illegal income is subject to tax, according to Section 40 of the German Fiscal Code (AO). From a tax perspective, you can work 100 hours a week, and everything is still subject to tax.

A mini-job is fine:

Legally regulated: Only one mini-job alongside the main job

In addition to a main job subject to compulsory insurance contributions , only one mini-job with an earnings limit can be held, which must be reported to the Mini-Job Center. Each additional mini-job with an earnings limit is added to the main job and, because the earnings limit is exceeded, is no longer considered a mini-job. The second and each subsequent mini-job is then subject to compulsory insurance, with the exception of unemployment insurance, and must be reported to the relevant health insurance provider like the main job. This also applies if the earnings limit is not exceeded when all mini-jobs are added together.
