2 initial consultations with a psychotherapist?
Hello,
I have the following question and I can't really get any further internally.
I received a referral for psychotherapy on Monday.
So, on Monday, I looked for available appointments in my area and now I have one for tomorrow. At the same time, I also emailed a recommended therapist. I wasn't expecting a response, but now I've just received one. I was considering seeing both, which you can, and then, if I feel more comfortable with one, I'll see who I choose. So, now I only have one referral. What would you do? I really don't want to cancel tomorrow and would rather rely on the recommended one.
Oh, and don't be surprised… I didn't pay any attention to spelling or anything. Hope you understand my problem anyway.
Your problem is easily solved: You don’t need a transfer to the psychotherapist! You can keep your transfer – unless your executing doctor wants a message from the psychotherapist. Then, on the one hand, do not take your transfer with and to the other therapists.
So you go to both and then decide. But say you have another appointment.
You’ll have to make a decision. Two at the same time don’t go.
I wrote that. It’s just about the first talks. You can see what therapist you’re getting better. 2 I don’t need. I was just talking about the transfer, because I only have one.
Do you have a medical contract?
Yes, but you can only give the transfer to one. Your pediatrician won’t show you a second.
Reviews are always such a thing. I already had therapists/doctors with bad reviews that I found good and vice versa.
Then you will not have such a contract, you know that.
I would get to know both (without giving one the transfer) and then decide.
I’ve never heard of it. Yeah, it’s like I was with my neurologist. She gave me that. I don’t know about a contract.
My mother-in-law was on the one hand and Mega is satisfied. I don’t know the others and have a rating of 3.0. but at least she has good opening hours.
It’s difficult. More like therapist one.
By the way, you don’t need a transfer for a psychotherapist. Unless you have a family doctor’s contract and your family doctor has issued the transfer.
What would you do? To whom would the hours of my working time be, but I have only heard good ones and a good feeling or to whom the jetz offers the appointment more quickly and also has a long time.
