1700 euros net for 30 hours?
Good day.
People in Germany don’t like to talk about salaries.
And since this is all anonymous, I wanted to ask whether my salary is reasonable given the circumstances or not.
I earn my 1700 net at 30 hours a week, so about 120-130 hours a month.
I live in eastern Germany, in Brandenburg to be precise.
Do you think the salary is still too low or is it fair or perhaps even a little higher than average?
Looking forward to your answers.
Depending on the job, this is quite decent, provided that it is a social insurance employment relationship and not a subcontractor or fee activity.
It corresponds to approximately EUR 2700 gross for parttime work – and EUR 3600 for a full-time job. Not even all people earn as a starting salary after a study.
This is relatively low, but without knowing your job, you can’t judge it at the end.
In the east I think that is very average. If you’re not in Berlin, it should be okay.
It’s okay for 30h.
I personally also find it absolutely stupid that we do not talk about money in our culture. How to find out if you’re being pulled over the Tisc.
The gross wage, best the hourly wage, is decisive.
As long as you do not claim support from the state, this is your own decision whether you are satisfied with it.
