11 Class certificate sufficient as proof of secondary school leaving certificate?
Hey guys, I have a problem and need some advice!
So, to apply for the intermediate service in the police force (i.e., training with a secondary school diploma), I need at least a grade of 4 in German and English and a grade of 3 in sports . I'm currently in the 12th grade at a grammar school because I transferred from the secondary school after the 10th grade to get my Abitur. But now I realize I'd rather drop out and start police training.
The problem is: In 10th grade at secondary school, I got a 3 in German and English and a 4 in sports . In 11th grade at high school, my grades changed slightly—I got a 4 in German and English each, but I got a 2 in sports. That would exactly meet the requirements for applying for the intermediate service!
Now I'm wondering if I can apply with my 11th-grade report card, since my grades there meet the requirements, and I won't have a 12th-grade certificate if I drop out now. Or would it perhaps be better to repeat 11th grade to further improve my grades and then have a "fresh" report card?
Does anyone have any idea whether the 11th grade report card could be accepted for the application, or would repeating the 11th grade be better?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Sure, should fit. Just write an explanation or call and ask nicely
