I went to an all-you-can-eat restaurant and had to pay €9.90 per bottle of drink. I wasn't told the price beforehand and was sometimes forced to order something. Is the operator even allowed to do that?

The question above refers to gifts, i.e. whether you can have them wrapped there
Hello, I'm going to borrow a friend's METRO card to go to the METRO. My question is, will they check closely to see if you're really just buying food and drink, and will they really stand out if you buy various things for around 100 euros, which would clearly be the case for a private…
I'm a single parent. That means I live alone with my 3-year-old son. He's fortunately a good eater. 😀 I'd be interested to know what other people spend each month, given the rising prices. I think I'm very frugal everywhere, but I'd say we actually spend the most on food. I always shop at Aldi,…

not always we have one, but only for lunch table, offers drinks included.

Your own
Had to ask before you order.
All-you-can eat completely without drinks would be unusual, but on the other hand it is unusual that a restaurant does not offer smaller 0.25l / 0.33l / 0.4l / 0.5l drinks.
But in relation to 0.25l for 2,90€ / 0.4l for 4,20€ / 0.5l for 4,90€ are 9,90€ for a 1l bottle also ok.
Although I can understand that a 0.4l for 4.20€ or two 0.25l for a total of 5,80€ would have been enough for you, but because of the about 5€ too much you don’t have to push a drama.
Of course, he can and with 10 euros for one litre of Cola, you’re still cheap. In gastronomy, a glass of 0.25 liters of Cola costs 3.50 euros. These are quite normal peises now!
At the North Sea a bottle of water (Vio) costs 500ml 2.79€.
