10 A socket for SmartHome?

Hello, attached is a picture of my new SmartHome sockets.

These can handle 10 amps…now I'm absolutely useless when it comes to electrical engineering!

But I know that most sockets can handle 16 amps.

Now to my train of thought…I want to use it to power my TV, music system, lamps and PC.

does that work without any problems?

I have a 2-way plug on the TV socket so I can also operate my TV LED strip at the same time.

Furthermore, I have all my PC stuff connected to a 10-way power strip, which I wanted to operate with the aforementioned SmartHome socket.

Will this all work? Or will my house burn down?

As I said, I am an absolute victim when it comes to electricity 😂

The ampere can be calculated from Watt and Volt: Watt :Volt=Ampere

Let's take your television consumed 200 watts and your LED bar 20 is not a problem

With your PC, it depends on the performance of the components. In most cases, however, you can see the power consumption in an app of the Smart Home plug, so that the 10 amperes are not exceeded:

230*10= 2300 W. 2300Watt throughout with all the stuff

Hello,

Even when the Schuco socket inserts are permanently installed in room walls, their load capacity is strictly limited to 10 A continuous load, and 16 A max. peak load nu defined for short periods.

Therefore, your "smart plug" will not cause damage in a fixed wall socket with its own load capacity limitation, but if necessary should To your product you better go back to its manual on its own max. See durability. This can be clearly below 10 A for your plugin.

Potential heavy consumers or consumers with high starting currents such as hotplates, mini ovens, heaters, large cooling/freezers, mobile air conditioners, washing machine & co, or overall too much "cleingeraffel" in power consumption resuming should be Therefore, you better not connect to this plugin if according to the manual there is not explicitly written something about its continuous loadability (10 A @ ED 100 ).

Yes, because you calculate 10 AMPs * 230 Volts are == 2300 Watts.

If you do not connect 2 heaters, the equipment PC+ accessories, radio and TV can be connected without any problems.
