looking for a decent organization that helps you to work in the USA for up to 1 year.

you only need an organization that serves as a sponsor if you meet the requirements for the required visa. For young adults who want to do an internship, this looks like:

Internals must be foreign nationals:

  • Who are currently in and pursuit at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States; or
  • Who have graduated from search an institution no more than 12 months prior to their exchange visitor program start date.

Limitations/Exceptions for Internal work environment

Internals cannot work in unskilled or casual labor position, in positions that require or involve childcare or elder care or in any kind of position that patient care or contact. Nor can Internals work in position that require more than 20 percent clerical or office support work.

I made it this way: starting with an international employer in Austria and then working for a job abroad and then getting it.
