02 Sensor heating circuit bank 1 sensor 1 on Opel Corsa?

Hello, I've been having a problem for a while now where the check engine light on my Opel Corsa (2008) keeps coming on. The reading shows "O2 Sensor Heating Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1", but it keeps clearing itself. It's a kind of sporadic error. The sporadic flashing of the check engine light annoys me because it always gives me a fright. What exactly is wrong with the error message? Is it dangerous to just leave it as it is, or is it safe? I have my MOT next spring and I don't know if something like that is a factor.
Hope someone can help me

Best regards

Sounds like a faulty lambda sensor heater. You could replace it and see if the problem persists.

If the lambda sensor isn't working properly, your engine control unit can't optimally adjust the air-fuel ratio, and the engine will run either too lean or too rich. Both are detrimental to efficiency and emissions.
